The Transcending Boundaries Conference (TBC) is for bisexual/pansexual, trans/genderqueer, intersex and polyamorous people and our allies. Author, sex educator, and event producer Tristan Taormino will share her experiences of forging space for people of all genders and sexual orientations and what it means to create truly pansexual, trans-positive communities.

Only two weeks left and we're buzzing with excitement! Pre-Registration by November 15th is highly recommended if you would like to have lunch at the Plenary/Keynote Luncheon on Saturday, as we must place our catering order in advance.

Advanced Registration ends on October 31st - on November 1st, the price goes up again. Register by Saturday to save money!

We have some new additions to our program! TBC will team up with AIDS Project Worcester to honor the Transgender Day of Remembrance on Friday, November 20th. Cecilia Tan will be doing an erotic reading on Saturday evening, as well as a workshop. Some new sponsors have been added, including Greater Boston PFLAG, AIDS Project Worcester, the New England Leather Alliance and the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts. Last, but not least, our next meeting will take place October 28, 2009 at 7 pm in East Berlin, CT. Email us for directions and details.

We've added Pioneering Voices - Portratis of Transgender People to our Program! Also, the buffet menu is available on our Food page. TBC has updated its housing page! You can now make hotel reservations at the Hilton Garden Inn online at the group rate of $109/night. Housing and Rideshare forums are also now online for those looking to pool their resources. We have also posted a tentative schedule online.

TBC is excited to announce our keynote speaker, Tristan Taormino! Tristan is a renowned queer sexuality speaker, sex educator, and author of the new book, Opening Up: A Guide to Creating and Sustaining Open Relationships (Cleis Press, 2008).

WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING VOLUNTEERS TO HELP ORGANIZE THE 6th TRANSCENDING BOUNDARIES CONFERENCE!

Transcending Boundaries is excited to announce planning for our 6th conference, and we need YOU to help make it happen! TBC focuses on the bisexual, intersex, polyamorous and transgender communities, and welcomes all those whose sex, gender and/or sexuality dont fit societys usual either/or categories. Never felt like you quite fit in? Transcending Boundaries might be for you!
 
We need organizers and volunteers of all talents and experience levels to make this happen! While we definitely need local volunteers, help from a distance is also welcome. Whether youve chaired cons before or never volunteered in your life, you can make a difference and have a great time doing it by being a part of TBC!
